Des Petits Hauts magic winter !!!

 We are so happy about all the wonderfull pieces from Des Petits Hauts that has just arrive , there is wonderfull tops , dresses and scarf for everyone at a great price and the quality is lovely as always ..

here Emma is wearing a very chic little black dress in silk with a small gold belt ..

isn't the print so sweet ? , you have to look at it pretty close to see the details but it makes it timeless .

Vanessa bruno supergreen top !

I love that top ! its green like summer but warm and cosy like autumn , it has a perfect length , neither too short or too long , its a top or a short dress , it is such a fresh color !

We just received EVERYRHING from our favorite hight street brand Des Petits Hauts so come while we open parcels upon parcels for the first pick !!

the best wool jersey skirt ever by Aiayu ...

Its rare to see a better skirt than this one by Aiayu ! 

you have to feel the soft and resistant fabric to understand it , when you know that Aiayu only produces  the best cashlama ( cashimir from lama ) , a product that do not loose fibers and shape you realize that you get the best investment with this skirt .

what do we wear most of the time if its not simple tops , i love this one grey number by Vanessa bruno with the patch of lace on the shoulder , the contrast between the transparency of the lace and the soft wool mix of the body ...

There is also a piece of lace on the side but there it is doubled so we do not have to worry about showing our tummy ..

Surface to Air does this wonderfull tights , they have many super details , i like the facts that they are very hight on the waist so you can wear them with a short top or tunika , the fabric is very thick so it tucks in where its needed and give a very cool look , it can be worn with a pair of bikers boots or for an evening out some killer heels ..

I was wondering what i would wear today if i could choose anything and this dress ( here on karoline) would be my perfect choice , its easy and simple as work dress but i would also think its cool enough to go partying tonight if i add a pair of killer heels ...

the leather pieces on the shoulder line make it so sleek ..

We are often driven to make the easiest choice when we go to work but some pieces of clothing can still look smashing .

I have mono obsessions ...always had them , can't control it , sometimes its shoes , sometimes bags , very seldom clothes but this time it was silver bracelets...

i´ll explain : when a mono obsession kicks in i only want to buy that one thing i am obsessed about ...

It can be expensive , silly : like the time i bought a full suitcase of the best bath product and realize i did not even own a bathtub .... 

Some times my friend gets lucky , like the time i bought 3 pairs of shoes in 40 minutes and jump in an airplane an hour after only to realize i AM a size 38 not 36 or 37 ...my friends inherited all those shoes .

well those bracelet under were mostly bought in Copenhagen ..

Post fashion fair in bordeaux Aiayu

After more than a month of traveling back and forth for the new season of collection, i am finally back in  Trondheim were the most exiting part of my job is starting ..

We have seen so many nice collection for summer 2013 and i will give you a glimpse into it but i LOVE autumn fashion and i am so ready to make you discover all the nice things we are receiving each days now .

NEW in from ISABEL MARANT !

I had to post those pictures of what just came in from Isabel Marant since it has been such a bus and i know that those pieces are sold out over all in norway and hard to get on the net .

we receive the leather jacket in two colors and the Momo jacket in blue ( the red/bordeaux was sold out at once when we received it a month ago )

I am posting from copenhagen so at the time of this post i don't know what is sold out so if you want to get one of those pieces please call karoline tomorrow on 73516910 and she will happily help you ...

i was talking about location, light on my last post and this post the light and location is terrible but we had barely time to take the pictures when the packet came in so we will be better next time ....

location location .....

When i go for a new photoshoot i either start with a great location or a great idea . 

if you suspect me to be very hight on my photo skills be safe : i actually do not know how to take pictures at all ! 

i just had . once. the good idea of investing in a good camera ( canon spell reflex or spel reflex or whatever its called) and because i am no technical geniuses i decided once and for all to keep it on the non program button , you know the green square that never start the flash or do any adjustments whatsoever ... 

Then of course it becomes  all about light or location since i cannot adjust anything ..

But i have a brother in Paris who i love more than anything who IS a technical genius and each time i go visit him he loves to take my camera , pushes all the button , unmount it , remount it , twist it several time and five minutes after handle it back to me and TA DAAA : its not working anymore like i want .

So some long days after ( while i swear i love my bro more than anything ) after i have managed to put it back exactly like it was before : no program , nothing button , then i can go and take my photos in great locations ...

so this was one of those great location 

and since its monday and all i wanted to share it with you ...

But the light did not work like i wanted so we will see if we found some outfit post to do from this location :)

Aiayu perfect basic wool top in blue ..

I love when designers keep making the same good basic tops seasons after seasons , it feel comforting to know you will never be lost and not know what to wear ; danish Aiayu is one of them who makes this wonderful tight fitted model, in different colors both winter and summer .

We always recommend this top to be worn directly on the body as it is both warm but light and this winter we have it in several colors from black to frost grey and as seen on this picture in a forest green .

Knitwear chic by Aiayu , bordeaux love

This is some more of our new autumn 2012 pieces by Aiayu that came in just a few days ago , i certainly have something special for both that brand ( who recently won Best Ethical Award Price in Danmark ) and the color bordeaux .

Both wool ( cashmala here , made from the finest and longest cashmere/lama fibers ) and the color bordeaux make me feel that the best autumn season is coming ..

i can picture those outfit with a dash of lipstick or even better the red/vine nail polish from deborah lippman : single ladies ..

I will never repeat enough that if you want some wool pieces that go unchanged trough seasons then invest in an Aiayu one , they have the best quality i came upon in my 12 years as a buyer .

This coming week will be packed with novelty so keep posted , first we are getting 4 parcels with Isabel Marant witch are flying off the box as soon as they come in , then the new Chan Lu jewel collection will be in , more from Vanessa Bruno , all the new des petits hauts , and last but not least some fabulous and the best organic candle light ever !

Aiayu and IRO

Long time no see ..

so ..it has been super busy lately, hence very few updates here on the blog and if you paid us a visit you maybe got the impression we were running around and you were right about that :)

We have been busy getting you all the collection in time for a new season , most of our designers are french and the french are totally off to holiday from the 1-15 of august, and some weeks before they are kings at doing loooong lunches and liiiiitle work :)

BUT at last this week started with deliveries and we got IRO , Aiayu and more ...

here is a little update ..

i love the simplicity of this outfit , a black wool jersey skirt with this soft IRO tee-shirt 

 we are amazed at the cool design Aiayu came with for this wool jersey skirt , it is so comfortable that karoline did not wanted to take it off .
