What's in my bag

Let me introduce you to my bag ; it's my little vitamin shot every morning and I feel it was very bold to choose it in THAT color :)


Ta daa... the ps1 by Proenza schouler ! In orange suede :)
so , I was in Copenhagen at the most beautifull accessories shop : holly golightly, and was torn between many choices ; a new balenciaga , a brown satchel from Marni and my first choice a black Proenza , and when I saw that orange model I just felt inside that it was so right but still had to take a walk for a while ; but a woman need to follow her heart and what makes me most happy is that bright orange color !
And in my bag today as most day I pack ...


The rouge noir by Chanel because I always hope I will find five minuts to put it on my nails ..



In my two beloved glitter pockets , one I have in pink the other in silver from louison Paris , I pack my super Aesop perfume witch remind me my French grand mother who always and still smell so elegant ; a mix between Shalimar and l'heure bleue . I also use a dab of Bobbi brown lip shine especially on days I feel a bit tired as I find it helps a lot :)



And of course always , my ipad , a magazine, a note book from ordning&reda witch color change as often as my moods and some accessories...

How to mix colors .

Good morning :) , it is a bit confusing to try dressing up in the morning these days , right now I am sitting on my little pink bench outside the shop and I can feel the temperature is rising rising and I love it but might have to change my outfit .
We are these days quite satisfied about the color scheme we can propose at shine , it's a bit of everything and we are trying to find our favorite ways to combine ,



So far our winner combination is dark blue and orange ,

This colors together create a classy match and add a bit of colors to a dark wardrobe witch is what we all long for during the coming months .


I love that intricate knit on this Aymara wool dress , so easy to use as a basic everyday on a pair of black , orange or even burgundy tights ( with matching nails oh la laaa )

Also I always long for some delicate brown colors but it's often can be a bit heavy so it has to be right and if you see that delicate top in light knit from Aymara witch has been a classic best seller in their collection you know it's right , also a bit transparent so you need to either have a nice bra under or use it as an under top ( and I will post different photos to show you how to update some light summer dress and use them in the autumn beautifully )

Happy Monday in color !

We have our little mood booster at the shop , this dress for example ! Who could have a bad day wearing that one :)


















Today we were all busy busy , new arrival , back to school for most and plenty of new experiences and we felt like pushing the autumn away but at the same time panning well , because after all that was the new season is all about ; planning a new wardrobe , getting the right coat , warm scarf and hat etc ...
Ah I am getting started with my own little list but here are a few good things :)

And that was for the soft colored accessories but for the bold ones who also want to wrap themselves in some happy rainbow colored scarfs here is our bestseller since 3 years : ta daaaa...




































The scarf on a roll ! To be cut the length you want , from one to many meters , for yourself or as a gift , it is quite striking used on top of a plain dark dress or coat , and we have loved it since the first time Sonia Rykiel made it :)

A great Friday !

Today the energy was flowing , I came to open the shop in the morning sunshine, and i felt so elated after some minutes when the coffe was made and jazz was on and I had shine the whole shop .


I like to stretch the last sunny days by using my new summer sandals from Henry and I think they are so beautiful I had to find different background for them :)



Pretty on pink too !



Also I was very very happy to hang my newly acquired print from Maria halting , Maria has been for the last years designing prints for the famous Orla Kiely ( witch we also sell at shine ) and Maria is now starting on her own and selling her prints all over the world .



This print is called Powder room girls and fit snugly in my little shop


Aren't they pretty ?




Maria left us a handmade lavender bag as well , sweet ..



I have to show you that super cool bag from Sonia we recently got , it has a wallet attached to it and is so practical as well as being nice .



And come in cerise too :)



I might sound a bit strange but I keep asking a lot of customers about those Sonia Rykiel shoes , are they totally over the top or ?



...


Maybe too early in the season to decide but Agnes was crazy about those , she felt she could not take them off , and today Karoline bought the two tone and she was clapping her hands in joy and so proud to own her first pair of Sonia shoes :)
